Processing of Personal Data
Below, we would like to provide you with information on how we treat your personal data when you use our site. Unless otherwise stated in the following chapters, the legal basis for the processing of your personal data results from the fact that such processing is necessary to make available to you the functionalities of the page you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) General Data Protection Regulation) and if there is a user register on the website, for the purposes described in the aforementioned register.

Access to our website

We have activated on our website the IP anonymity function offered by Google, so that the last 8 digits (type IPv4) or the last 80 bits (type IPv6) of your IP address are deleted. In addition, Google is certified under the EU-US privacy shield, which guarantees an adequate level of data protection with respect to data processing by Google in the United States.

Information on adverse events and quality complaints
This site is not intended or designed for communications regarding adverse events, lack of therapeutic effect, medication errors, black market products/counterfeit medicines, misuse or off-label use, quality claims or other issues relating to the safety or quality of Bayer products. If you wish to report any adverse events or file a quality claim, please contact your healthcare professional (e.g. doctor or pharmacist), your local health authority or use our website to report unwanted adverse events.
However, if you inform us about unwanted adverse events or other problems relating to the safety or quality of Bayer products, we are legally obliged to process your communication and may need to contact you for clarification purposes. Subsequently, we may need to notify the relevant health authorities about the problems reported by you. In this context, your information will be sent in pseudonymous form, i.e. no information will be transmitted by which you can be directly identified. We may also have to send these pseudonymized notifications to companies belonging to our group and to our cooperation partners, insofar as they are equally obliged to notify their respective competent health authorities.
Period of retention of personal data
